O Comitê de Educação ABS convida você para workshop gratuito “Lessons from Online Teaching and Learning Animal Behavior - Free Workshop”. January 15, 2021- 10:00 AM EST.
2020 has been a unique year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many of us were forced to offer our animal behavior related courses online. Although challenging, this offered us an opportunity to learn new approaches, try different strategies and fine-tune best practices. Many instructors have shown an interest in both sharing what they’ve discovered during this process and learning from others.
The ABS Education Committee invites you to our free mid-year workshop: "Lessons from online teaching and learning animal behavior", on January 15th from 10 am to 6 pm EST. We will host short presentations and group discussions on topics such as Online Lecturing and Discussions, Field Classes, and Online Resources and Student Assessment. We also invite all participants to contribute an optional 5-minute video outlining your experiences teaching animal behavior online. We will feature some of these videos at the workshop and all will be available for viewing on the ABS Youtube Channel.
